President's Letter

August 2024

Hello, new and retuning Bengals! Welcome to the Boggess Elementary PTA's website where you'll find helpful information about our school and the PTA.

I'm Bridgette Williams, and I am excited to serve as the President of the Boggess Elementary PTA. President is my third position in our PTA.  I have been Publicity Chair and Yearbook Chair, as well as an extra pair of hands with Fall Carnival and Fun Run for the past two years, helping my mother, Gloria Williams, who is on her second stint as Vice President of Ways & Means. We've made Boggess PTA a family affair!

I am a native Texan, who also went through the PISD -- from Wells Elementary to Plano Senior High. (I'm working on my loyalties, but once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!) My degrees are in English and Journalism, and my work in media, journalism and marketing has allowed me to do fun, unique things around Dallas-Fort Worth.

My twin boys began at Boggess as kindergarteners and are now excited to start 3rd grade! We have loved being part of the Boggess community. As a parent, I have enjoyed watching my boys grow and learn at Boggess. Our school is such a special places, thank to our teachers, our kids and you. 

I invite you to become a member of the Boggess PTA and sign up to volunteer. Please ensure to complete ALL STEPS at least three business days before your first volunteer event. Throughout the school year, we encourage you to participate and show your support for our programs, activities, and fundraisers! Moreover, consider downloading the Box Tops for Education app on your phone, allowing you to scan digital and paper receipts to effortlessly collect virtual box tops that will benefit our school!
