Greetings, and a warm welcome to the Boggess Elementary PTA's website. Here, you'll find a wealth of valuable information about our school and the PTA.

My name is Sylvia Roy, and it brings me immense joy to serve as the President of the Boggess Elementary PTA for the second consecutive year. I began my journey here as the 1st Grade Coordinator and also chaired Family Game Night. Being a stay-at-home mom for several years, I found great fulfillment in contributing to Boggess Elementary's community. Originally from Canada, my parents, Czech immigrants, always dreamt of a ranch in Texas, so we moved here as soon as we could. My husband is a native Houstonian with parents from India. I hold a Masters degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and previously worked in the Texas Capital. Our family has been a part of Boggess for four years now, with Archer in 3rd grade and the twins, Hunter and Knox, in 2nd grade. As a family, we cherish sports, diverse adventures, and outdoor fun! The supportive and diverse community at Boggess has truly captured my heart, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

This year, I extend a warm invitation for you to become a member of the Boggess PTA and sign up to volunteer. Please ensure to complete ALL STEPS at least three business days before your first volunteer event. Throughout the school year, we encourage you to participate and show your support for our programs, activities, and fundraisers! Moreover, consider downloading the Box Tops for Education app on your phone, allowing you to scan digital and paper receipts to effortlessly collect virtual box tops that will benefit our school!

Our PTA is not an exclusive club dictated by one person; rather, we are a vibrant group of individuals from all walks of life, representing the rich diversity within our community. If you care about our community's schools and students, you already belong in the PTA. Together, we can create the best possible environment for our students, staff, and families. Together, we can be the reason someone feels welcomed, loved, heard, seen, and supported. Together, we can achieve remarkable things.
