The annual Boggess PTA Bike Rodeo and Family Picnic presents a wonderful opportunity for Boggess students and their families to embrace the outdoors, hop on their bikes, and engage in a lesson-packed adventure focused on bike safety and equipment check-ups. As the spring and summer seasons beckon more of our students to explore their neighborhoods on two wheels, our aim is to ensure their rides are not only thrilling but also safe. This event serves as an essential refresher just before the arrival of those long, sun-soaked summer days.

Traditionally, we're joined by the Murphy Police Department, Murphy Fire Department, and a local bicycle shop, all ready to inspect gear – from bikes to helmets and beyond. Inclusivity is key, as we extend a warm welcome to upcoming Boggess Kindergartners and their families, fostering connections between current Boggess families and their future peers. (Look forward to a delightful appearance by Kona Ice Snow Cones too!)

Feel free to bring along your chairs and relish a cozy dinner in the company of your Boggess family, all while immersing yourself in the thrill of the Bike Rodeo festivities!
