Each year the Boggess PTA provides opportunities for students to extend their horizons with a variety of after school programs that range from creative (art, sculpting, dance) to STEM and the ever popular chess.

Wize Computing Academy
Registration for our upcoming after-school program with Wize Computing Academy is now open!

Our next after-school program will be Wize Computing Academy - Coding with Minecraft Education Software on Wednesdays, January 17 - March 6 (8 weeks). We will need 2-3 volunteers to help on those Wednesdays from around 2:40-4:10. Volunteers will receive 70% discount off first child’s registration and 35% discount on any additional children’s registrations.
Parent volunteers will help get registered students to the program from their classrooms, help supervise during the class, and assist with dismissal. All volunteers must have a current, completed background check in Voly. If you would like to volunteer, please email Jennifer Colvin at programs@boggesspta.org prior to registering for the class so you can receive the discounted rate.

NOTE: Volunteering requires the completion of a volunteer application through PISD. Allow a minimum of 3-5 business days for the background search to be conducted after submitting your application.
